Just finished this Watercolor painting, from James Ayers colection

I absolutely love James Ayers Art, he is magnificent....I painted this from one of his.  I'm still learning and his work is so outstanding, I just had to try it.  I think he paints with oils.

Latest Quilt

this is a Birthday gift for a friend, however I might have to put it in the Tulsa Fair this year, it's so cute.  Eleanor Burns pattern

My wonderful Aussie friend Julia

She came to see me while on her trip to the US.  We've been friends for about 5 years.  We met online when I was working on my Crazy Quilt.  She gave me invaluable information on how to make it.  She is A Master Quilter, designs her own quilts.  I just love her.  We were able to visit local fabric shops.

The Mason's Scrappy Quilt

When we were in Texas in April.  Our Friend Darren Mason said "I want a Scrappy Quilt, that I can wrap up in on my couch"  well you know that's all one has to say to this Obsessive Compulsive Quilter.....I started thinking immediately.  Came home and pulled Civil War Repo fabrics, then what design.  Came up with a Strip pieced idea, I pieced the center strips, and even Paper pieced the Circle Star which is the name of his Ranch and his cattle brand.  I appliqued it in the top right corner.  He and his wife loved the quilt.  He even paid me for it.  yippee!

Finished Scrappy Quilt

I wanted to make a quilt I saw in a book "Sunday Morning Quilts"  even tho I didn't have enough whites, and you know I love brights.  Here is mine.  I used lots of different fabrics, mainly modern fabrics I bought from Owl & Drum, Tulsa, OK.  I stabilized the quilt using machine stitching, then I hand quilted Long Stitches with different colors of Pearl Cotton.  Mountain Mist Cream Rose batting, makes a quilt so comfy.  I love this quilt

Watercolor paintings I did of my Grandson Blake's two Huskies

Mufasa and Yoshi

This is a Christmas Quilt that I made for "Miss Christmas girl"  it's a surprise for her.  Hope she likes it, it was 6 yrs in the making.  The embroidery is all hand done, even my friend Janis helped on this one.  We got so tired of it, I put it up for a few years.  Determined to get it finished this year.  It's finished.  Yeah!
