Lots of new fabrics....yippee,

Tulsa's Quilt Sampler is stepping up on their fabrics.  Found some wonderful fabrics today.  Gonna in my "Freddy Moran tribute"....love that lady's work (well and probably a few more quilts.  Ok now I need to stay OUT OF THE FABRIC STORES.....

Found my Modern Fabric

Finally, found the fabric I've been looking for.  I'll use it on a black & white background.  Freddy Moran has inspired me.  Believe it or not, I found it at Hobby Lobby for a great price of 4.89 a yard.
Love all of it. Can't wait to see what it turns out to be.

startred quilting the Primitive...

named this one... Bethany's got a new garden....it's a Blackbird Design called Garden Fair...it's hand appliqued and I am quilting it by hand with the long running stitches using crochet thread.  I'm quilting right over the applique pieces.  Gonna give it to her for Christmas.  I'm going to make my daughter in law, Ericka one also, her's will be a little different, but using the same fabrics.  My friend Cathy Underhill has inspired me to quilt this way.....

Beyond Earth

I made this quilt with scraps of Asian prints.  Finally got a picture of this one.  The circles on the front are Needleturn applique, I had those squares in the middle, thought "they have to be on point" worked out.  Then the back is completely pieced, the circles are zig zagged on, machine quilted.  I like this piece.....
