These colors are not usually my "cup of tea", still not. But, I really liked this quilt in her book. Of course, I didn't have any William Morris fabric, so these are what I came up with. It's all machine applique, Blanket Stitch, and machine quilted. I used Mountain Mist Cream Rose batting, probably the lightest weight batting I've ever used....would be great to hand quilt.
the important thing IT'S FINISHED!!!!

Operation Hoodies for the Homeless
(I know, I know.....but I call them Hoodies, they are really Tubes that one slips over your head) We have a cold snap coming tonight. So my friend Diana and I went yesterday and bought Fleece on sale at JoAnns. She and I made 135. Since we bought yardage it is easier to sew the scraps together, too.
I think our cost came to around .68 cents per Hoodie.
This morning I'm calling The Day Center for the Homeless and see if they will take them, if they won't then I'll call the John 3:16 Mission and see if they want them. Then if they don't want them, then I'll check with the Police.....
