Worked on Sewing Room

Well, I got so tired of hunting fabric.....since I moved .....  Saturday morning I tore into my closet in my sewing room.  I knew I had loads of room, but everything was spilling over.  First, worked on the closet, then tore into the fabric shelves.  I put all my books in the closet, that have me loads of room on the shelves in the room.  I went thru all the fabrics, straightened and folded and placed neatly on the shelves.  I had already turned the sewing cabinet around so that the light would come in from behind hoping to help the glare.  Here are the results.  I am very pleased.  And actually I have MORE ROOM FOR NEW FABRICS,  whee, that's nice for sure.  I definitely need more black on black fabrics.....I was even able to put all my Kaffe fabrics in one of the baskets.

So inspired to make new quilts.  I have 3 in mind right now......

1/2 finished quilting

Got this baby sandwiched and started quilting yesterday (on my new Pfaff).  Not the easiest thing to quilt for sure with all the b & w contrast.......

Gonna name it "Find the Bird" or maybe "Birdie, Birdie where are you", or "What's Black & White and Red all over".....lol

Happy Valentines Day, He Must have gone to Kay!

This is the first time I've been home for Valentine's Day in oh about 12 years.  I'm usually working the Int'l Toy Fair in New York.  David surprised me, with a card, candy and a beautiful necklace!
Wow, how pampered can one gal be!   LOVIN' IT..... love you Honey!

New Cutting Table

Got a new cutting table for my sewing room.  We actually purchased this for a kitchen as a serving table for Holidays.  David and I got to thinking we might purchase a Food Freezer and put it in our Laundry Room where this was (using it to fold clothes and hold our doggie's food), so he said "what would we do with the Kitchen Island we purchased"  I said, well it would make a great cutting table and it looks so classy!  So we moved the JoAnn Cutting Table out (he's going to use it in the garage for a work table) and moved it in here. (now gotta find a place to put the dog food)

I love it and will make for good storage, too.
