Two young quilters

Yesterday, my two  youngest granddaughters came over and we sewed.  We actually got a Baby Rag Quilt done, all but the clipping.  Teaching how to sew in a straight line, now always easy.  But, we had a blast, they have their own machines, but they really like my Pfaff...

I'm calling these Huggy Snuggy Quilts, little lap quilts for little girls.  Hope they bring them comfort.
Lots of circles.  This one's name is "I'M SEEING SPOTS"....I quilted it with variegated thread in squares, wanted to give it some depth.  The back is all dots too.  These will be mailed Monday or as soon as I can get the address.  I'm not sure their home has been repaired yet.

Well, I started pulling fabric for my next Black & White quilt.  I've started sewing the Dresden's for it.  Since we had such bad storms last night (south of us, poor people in Oklahoma City area) lightening and thunder all around, I was to nervous and it was to late to start quilting on the Roseville, so I pulled fabric for the next Primitive block.  This is a design by Blackbird designs, so pretty.  My daughter wants this quilt, said it will go perfect in her new home.  By the way her test came out great this week, her liver looks great.  That's wonderful news.....anyway.  Here is the mess I have going on in my sewing room right now.  I usually work on several quilts at one time, as you can well see.  I think most of us OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE QUILTERS DO.....you can see my design wall has several black & whites, interviewing fabrics for backgound fabrics.  So little time....
