Jacobean first two squares sewn together

I just couldn't wait, even tho I haven't finished quilting that last square.  I sewed two blocks together to see how much more echo quilting I have to do on the joined blocks.  I also have to extend the echo quilting into the sashing.  The sashing is a batik that's purple, lime green, and yellow.  I think it's going to look great, there but not there, does that make sense....I still have to "bling" several of the blocks, including this bird block
