Sticky Back Paper for Applique patterns

Well, I had a thought.......I have always used Freezer Paper for my applique patterns.  I ironed the freezer paper to the right side of my fabric.  I was thinking what if the paper was stricky and you could reuse it.  I went to the store and bought "Labeling sticky paper)  drew my pattern on it and I was able to reuse it over, over, and over again while marking the patterns on my Roseville Album border.  I love this idea you might try it.  No heat involved great for travel, too.....I will definitely use this paper from now on.

The paper is sold in whole sheets, amazing

  1. I haven't seen sheets of sticky paper around but I'm going to look now, thanks for the tip. How do you draw the template shapes on it?

  3. I have been doing applique with freezer paper on the right side for years. Maybe I'll try the letter size label stock. Can't trace through it, as with freezer paper, but you're right--no need to iron. Just slap it on, turn under edges and sew. Thanks for the idea.
